1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Remi ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using Remi, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information when creating your account through Google or Apple sign-in.
4. Your Content
You retain ownership of all recipes, notes, photos, and other content you create or upload ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a license to store, display, and process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you.
You are responsible for Your Content and must have the right to share any content you upload. Do not upload content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise the Service
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Scrape or collect data from the Service without permission
- Circumvent usage limits or access controls
- Share your account credentials with others
6. AI Features
The Service includes AI-powered features for recipe extraction, suggestions, and chat. AI outputs are provided "as is" and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before use. Do not rely on AI features for dietary, allergy, or medical advice.
7. Shared Cookbooks
When you invite others to a shared cookbook, you control their access level (viewer, contributor, admin). You are responsible for managing access to your cookbooks. Members can see content shared within the cookbook based on their role.
8. Payments and Refunds
Family Book purchases and credit packs are one-time payments processed by Stripe. All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where required by law. If you experience issues with your purchase, contact us at support@reciperemi.com.
9. Service Availability
We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes.
10. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, and branding, is owned by Remi. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without permission. Your Content remains yours.
11. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Remi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in New York, NY.
